Dr Tun is a general practitioner who also has more than 10 years of experience in general surgery. He has been practising on the Gold Coast for the last 5 years. He has now opened his own medical centre in Chevron Island, after having worked at Southport Park Medical Centre and Galleon Way Medical Centre in Currumbin - so if you are a patient of his, he would love to see you again at Chevron Advanced Medical.
He completed his medical degree in 1981 in Burma and then moved to South Africa where he gained most of his surgical experiences in one of Pietermaritzburg's busiest hospitals. In Australia, he provided healthcare to people in rural and remote regions of northern Queensland since 2002. He obtained his Fellowship from The Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Ireland in 2003 and then became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2006.
