Tweed Health for Everyone Superclinic

Tweed Health for Everyone Superclinic opened 31 May 2013 & was built with 7 million funding from the Federal Government of Australia.

This new & innovative clinic has a multidisciplinary team with a patient centred model of care- it is the medical home that is committed to putting the patients needs at the centre and building support networks of General Practitioners, nurses, Allied Health practitioners such as Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, Dietitian, Diabetic educator, Speech Therapist, Podiatrist, Wound Care Specialist nurse , Audiology &  Midwife & Lactation consultant. It has also on site Pathology, Dentists & Optometry. Currently there are 11 GPs covering areas such as Skin Cancer Clinic & Travel Health advice. We also have an Acute Care Area to cater to the needs of minor emergencies. Currently we have 11 GPs as well as visiting Specialists.

We also train the doctors, nurses & allied health workforce of the future. It is led by experienced local GPs Drs Soden, Sterne & Blanckensee who together have more than 50 years of experience in the local area.
