Dr Rhiarne Pronk

Dr Pronk provides clinical and counselling psychology services to children, adolescents and their families to assist with behavioural difficulties, emotional resilience, depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, bullying, friendshipissues,and school-based problems. Dr Pronk also consults with adults regarding a broad range of issues including parenting difficulties, depression, anxiety, griefand stress-related difficulties. Dr Pronk utilises well-researched and evidence-based psychological treatment approaches to optimise treatment outcomes.

Dr Pronk is a Clinical Psychologist and has extensive experience assisting children, adolescents and families regarding a broad range of issues including grief and loss, parenting difficulties, behavioural problems, attachment, depression, anxiety, and social difficulties. Dr Pronk also specialises in the clinical assessment andcognitive-behavioural intervention for anxiety, depression and adjustment difficulties in adults. Dr Pronk has also consulted for many organisations in Queensland regarding work-related stress. Dr Pronk is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society, and maintains active research and academic teaching practice at Griffith University Gold Coast Dr Pronk has presented her clinical research findings at both national and international conferences, and has written international research publications in the area of peer-related difficulties and emotional wellbeing inchildren and adolescents. Dr Pronk is an advocate for children and youth's well-being and regularly liaises with local and international media bodies regarding a broad range of issues including emotional well-being, peer relationships and bullying issues in children and adolescents.
