U C Dental understands that finding a new dentist is always a hard decision, similar to that of a doctor, hairdresser, etc. Let’s face it, most people don’t enjoy going to the dentist. U C Dental was opened in December 2007 by Dr Thomas Samuelsson, as part of the new Coomera City Centre (incorporating Woolworths). Dr Samuelsson is highly experienced in all aspects of dentistry and patient care with over three decades of experience in both General and Cosmetic dentistry. He speaks Swedish, German and of course English, and has had dental practices in both Europe and Australia.
Shortly after opening U C Dental, Dr Samuelsson was joined by Dr Valda Jing. Being our only female dentist, Dr Jing offers another dimension to our practice and her approachable style and calm, gentle nature make her very popular with her patients, their children and families. Dr Jing was born in Singapore but has lived in Australia for many years, having gained her qualifications at Adelaide University.
As the area and our reputation grew, we were joined by Dr David McKenzie in early 2009. Originally from Adelaide, he prides himself on being a very thorough dentist and aims to make every dental visit as stress free as possible. He is only too happy to discuss any dental concerns or answer any questions that you may have in regard to your dental treatment or care of your teeth.
Recently, Dr James Brown joined our team after returning from an overseas working holiday. Dr Brown is from England but has lived on the Gold Coast and been a practising dentist here for several years. He understands that a patient needs to feel in control of his or her treatment and takes the time to explain the various options available to them.
Our extended trading hours means that a dentist is readily available to you, including Saturdays.
