The Southport Medical Centre is a group practice, which has been operating in the Southport area since 1947. The Centre provides a comprehensive range of medical services, including home and institutional visits and a collaborative approach to chronic disease management.
The Southport Medical Centre is an accredited Group 1 training practice responsible for the provision of GP training for Registrars under the Australian Vocational Training Program. PGY’s do a ten week term in General Practice as part of their hospital rotation. We are also a training practice for medical and nursing students.
