Dr Paul Bennett has been a General Surgeon on the Gold Coast since 1984. His general surgical interest includes surgery of the gall bladder, thyroid, abdominal hernias, hiatus hernia, skin lesions, and bariatric surgery (laparoscopic adjustable gastric band and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy).
He remains a VMO at the Gold Coast Hospital where he provides an intermediate service to the self-insured patients.
Dr Paul Bennett has a minor procedures room onsite performing vasectomies, wedge excision of toenails, local incision and re-excision of skin lesions.
Allied health services are also available at the practice, which include a dietitian, psychologist and exercise physiologist.
