Dr Clive Jones is a registered psychologist specialising in the assessment and treatment of mental health issues and disorders.
He is also a Sport Psychologist consulting elite athletes and corporate leaders in their high performance goals.
He conducts appointments on site at his Bundall office on the Gold Coast and also nationally/internationally via video conferencing calls.
Clive consults individuals, couples and families with referrals coming from General Medical Practitioners (GP's), Psychiatric wards, Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), WorkCover, general word of mouth, community groups and also the elite sporting community, including the Queensland Academy of Sport and other elite sporting teams and squads.
Clive also provides regular professional development for General Medical Practitioners in Mental Health as an accredited professional development provider with the Royal Austraian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the General Practice Mental Health Standards Collaboration (GPMHSC).

STRATEGIES OF APPROACH incorporate Cognitive therapy, CBT, motivational interviewing, Interpersonal therapy, narrative therapy and also a broader family systems model of approach when working with children and adolescents

Clive maintains his private practice while teaching psychology part time through his appointment as Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine at Bond University on the Gold Coast. He is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society's (APS) College of Counseling Psychologists and APS College of Sport & Exercise Psychologists. He is also a member of the International Society of Sport Psychology and and the International Association of Applied Psychology.
